What a busy month we had!! Our first theme was Autumn. We went on a lovely nature walk picking blackberries and collecting leaves.
When we got back to school we practiced our sorting skills and divided our collection into two piles: leaves and berries.
We got busy making Autumn trees.
Sorting by colour.
Practicing our fine motor skills.
We used shaving foam and paint to decorate our leaves 🍁
We got messy afterwards!!
We were delighted to get back to the cookery room. We always ways our hands before we begin.
Here we are making toast.
A big thanks to Ann for our beautiful display.
Our next theme was Halloween. We painted orange pumpkins and white ghosts.
Lots of sensory play! Here we are looking for spiders and eyeballs.

We love playdough so we put our skills to test with our family themed playdough mats.
Next up was the theme of school. We looked at the people who help us in school and the friends we have in our classroom. We played a matching game with these visuals. Some of us were even able for more difficult matching boards!!
We got busy making lots of school themed art. Here’s some snaps of us glueing and sticking....
