Our girls soccer team got beautiful new kits. We would like to thank our sponsor East Cork Oil for making this possible.
What an amazing day was had by all on Thursday in Faithlegg. Getting a Garda escort, watching Santa arriving by helicopter, meeting the main man himself in his cabin and dancing the day away, we certainly had some very tired students and staff on the bus home.
The Leavers Class have been working very hard in their workshop making lots of handmade crafts for the Christmas Market. Please come along and support each Thursday in the square in Dungarvan or contact the school for more details.

Between preparation for our Christmas mass and variety show, Christmas art and amazing door displays, St. John's is well and truly in the Christmas spirit. Here is a sneak peak at some of the work going on around the corridors....
We have lots to look forward to in the coming weeks so keep an eye out for lots of updates.
On Friday 14th October, St. John’s travelled to Mary Immaculate College in Limerick to compete in the u18 Munster indoor soccer tournament.
We had two teams taking part against teams from all six counties of Munster.
After the series of round robin games our ‘A’ squad came a very credible 5th place narrowly missing out on a semi-final place with a defeat to the eventual winners from Tralee.
Our ‘B’ team went one better, but were eventually beaten in the semi-finals by St. Anne’s from Ennis, who also went on to win the tournament.
Overall, a great day was had by both squads with everyone playing their part on the day.
Twelve pupils from the the secondary classes represented Munster in the inaugural Sport For All Football tournament. The traveled to Croke Park to play two matches against Connacht and Leinster. Very successful in all matches and a great day was had by all. We are very proud of them.
The under 21 Championship winners visited the school on Friday. They brought the James Nolan Cup to show us.
